Shopping

There are so many types of shops now! The most interesting are corner shops, chain stores, car showrooms, charity shops, furniture warehouses, off-licence supermarkets etc. Anyway the popularity of supermarkets has increased. But do the benefits of supermarkets really outweigh those of small local shops? Certainly, we can’t deny that supermarkets have certain advantages. Firstly they provide a wide variety of goods at low prices. Moreover they are ideal for those customers who don’t have time to visit more than one shop. On the other hand the small shop offers certain benefits!  Due to their size small shops fit into residential areas easily making them more convenient for shoppers. And generally they stay open later than supermarkets.
I know some people who hate going shopping. They make a list of what they need and run through the stores buying only the necessary items. Sometimes they even don't care about the price. But there are people who go from one store to another one all day long looking for goods of better quality and lower price.  So those don't worry about the time they spend shopping.
As for me I prefer to buy products in a self-service shop where the customer goes from counter to counter selecting and putting into a basket what he or she wishes to buy. Actually it’s rather difficult not to spend all your money there!
And I’d like to mention online-shops which are very popular now, especially among young people! They work 24 hours per day. There are a lot of advantages in such kind of shopping. The first is ability to shop at a time that is convenient to you, not just when the shops are open. Moreover goods are often cheaper because the seller does not have to pay a rent and work of the staff etc. Such kind of shopping can also be more comfortable than real world one in case of the poor weather outdoors. Besides a huge advantage of shopping online is that you have the opportunity to compare as many products and prices as you want without having to spend the time and money visiting different shops. You could also read some reviews that have been written by other people who have purchased the item you are looking for.  Finally you will be able to find and buy products all over the world not just in your local area - this makes purchasing a lot easier! The main disadvantage of shopping online is that you have to wait for the delivery. This could take several weeks!
Clearly, that online purchases cause in some people fears, but often they facilitate our life!
To sum up there is a variety of means of shopping and everyone can choose the one he or she prefers. Shopping is a part of our daily life and we should put up with it whether we like it or not.

Rue Magazine: Issue 2 Sneak Peek!

Rue Magazine: Issue 2 Sneak Peek!
This blog is worth seeing!  It’s rather useful for me because I am fond of decorations, especially creative ones. I believe that a person’s home is a reflection of his/her personality. This girl shows how to turn a plain loft into a modern cozy dwelling. Looks lovely! I think everybody has in mind an «ideal house». Perhaps some advice from this site will help you to make your hose awesome!

The Future of Shopping

Wow! Isn’t it great?! I really enjoyed this video! It’s a pity it isn’t available in our shops. In my opinion it’s the best way to find e.g. party-dress which suits you if you have no time…So you don’t need to spend hours in front of the mirror and try on clothes! Do shopping with pleasure!

The London Eye - London Travel Guide

The London Eye is 135 meters high which makes it the world's tallest observation wheel. It has 32 capsules and carries around 10,000 visitors every day. The London Eye has become the most popular paid for UK visitor attraction, visited by over 3.5 million people a year. While traveling in complete safety you can see up to 40 kilometers away in all directions from each capsule

A beautiful sight

As you know there are a lot of sights in London. Among them there are:  Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, London Bridge, the Tower of London etc. As for me the most beautiful place to visit is The London Eye! That’s lovely, especially at night. It gives visitors a bird's eye view of the city while cruising on the Thames allows one to get a closer look at some of the city's landmarks! So you can see the whole London from there. Moreover it’s the best location to take some marvelous photos. I’d like to see it myself.
